Cohen, Doren, Addeo & Co., LLC (CDA) is a medium-sized accounting firm located in the heart of Jersey City's vibrant waterfront financial district. CDA was established in August, 2004 from two predecessor firms, Cohen, Doren, Haviaris & Co. L.L.P., and Auerbach & Addeo, P.C. (predecessors). CDA provides audit, accounting, tax, estate planning and consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals located primarily in, but not limited to, New Jersey. CDA predecessors have undergone five quality or peer reviews to date, all of which resulted in unqualified opinions, the last four being without any letter of comment. Currently, CDA performs Single and Yellow Book Audits for several not-for-profit organizations. CDA also provides basic financial audit services, as well as review and compilation services, to various businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Other services provided to not-for-profit organizations include preparation of tax returns, preparation of applications for exemption, and consulting services in assisting with computerization of accounting systems.
